• The limit state of the bearing capacity (eg ground and ground escarpment) according to DIN EN 1997-1 and the national annexes, DIN 1054, DIN 4017 and DIN 4084.
• The degree of fitness for purpose (eg settling, cracking) according to DIN EN 1997-1 and the national annexes and DIN 4019.
• The sliding safety according to DIN EN 1997-1 as well as the national annexes and DIN 1054, if horizontal forces or oblique forces act on the foundation or structure.
• The safety against tilting according to DIN EN 1997-1 as well as the national annexes and DIN 1054, if e.g. by high horizontal forces (eg. wind) acting on the building moments at the foundations and / or different degrees of reduction and prone layers in the subsoil.
• The required safety against water pressure and buoyancy in the presence of ground water or leaking seepage water.
• The setting of a structure by the deformation of the underlying floor layers according to DIN 4019.
• The stability of slopes (eg steep slopes, excavation pit) according to DIN EN 1997-1 and the national annexes, DIN 1054 and DIN 4084.
