• Ground Investigation

Due to the current legal situation, the builders are responsible for the soil and the soil risk. However, They can reduce this risk by entrusting a land surveyor with a land survey to check the condition of the site.

The safety against tilting according to DIN EN 1997-1 as well as the national annexes and DIN 1054, if e.g. by high horizontal forces (eg. wind) acting on the building moments at the foundations and / or different degrees of reduction and prone layers in the subsoil.
The required safety against water pressure and buoyancy in the presence of ground water or leaking seepage water.
The setting of a structure by the deformation of the underlying floor layers according to DIN 4019.
The stability of slopes (eg steep slopes, excavation pit) according to DIN EN 1997-1 and the national annexes, DIN 1054 and DIN 4084.

  • Soundings

    Soundings
Soundings are carried out for the extraction of soil samples and examining the soil structure for evaluating such. Eg the storage density and consistency of a subsoil. A distinction is made between the ridge core and the peak pressure probe depending on the drilling target and the penetration depth.

    Percussion Drilling
A percussion drilling is a method to explore the floor structure and for taking soil samples from loose rock that is applied in geology and in the construction industry and in the exploration of contaminated sites. The soil structure is documented in a shift index. Once the depth has been reached, the borehole is refilled or removed to the measuring point. This is used (groundwater measuring point) for the measurement of the water table and for taking samples of ground water or for sampling the soil air (air floor measuring point)

    Drop Penetration Testing
The dynamic probing is a building pulping process used in construction, in which a probe is rammed with determined energy into the ground. The impact rate is necessary for a defined penetration depth. From the number of impacts in the case of rolling floors, conclusions can be drawn about the bearing density.

  • Compression Test

In order to demonstrate a compliant compacting in the course of earthworks, the execution of compression tests is of great importance.

In addition to the correct compression technology, the condensation water content is also important when compressing.

While compacting compressors (vibratory plates) are primarily used for compacting non-binding floors, cohesive soils can only be properly compacted by means of kneading / stamping technology (for example with the sheepsfoot roller). But also the best technique and good will do not help if the sands are too dry or the clay is too damp.

For this reason, it is important to have compression tests carried out by a specialist. We use the following procedures:

What procedures we use to check the compression:

Plate pressure test with static load plate in accordance with DIN 18134
Dynamic plate tests with drop light + Ramondondierungen
