Soundings
Soundings are carried out for the extraction of soil samples and examining the soil structure for evaluating such. Eg the storage density and consistency of a subsoil. A distinction is made between the ridge core and the peak pressure probe depending on the drilling target and the penetration depth.
Percussion Drilling
A percussion drilling is a method to explore the floor structure and for taking soil samples from loose rock that is applied in geology and in the construction industry and in the exploration of contaminated sites. The soil structure is documented in a shift index. Once the depth has been reached, the borehole is refilled or removed to the measuring point. This is used (groundwater measuring point) for the measurement of the water table and for taking samples of ground water or for sampling the soil air (air floor measuring point)
Drop Penetration Testing
The dynamic probing is a building pulping process used in construction, in which a probe is rammed with determined energy into the ground. The impact rate is necessary for a defined penetration depth. From the number of impacts in the case of rolling floors, conclusions can be drawn about the bearing density.
